1. Can Wii2HDMI improve the display quality?
The correct answer is both “Yes” and “No”!
If you have always used the composite cable (in the package when you purchased the Wii console) or SCART cables, which support only 480i mode, then you will notice a major improvement after using Wii2HDMI.
The Wii2HDMI doesn’t have de-interlacing or scaling functionality, but it faithfully converts the video signals from the Wii console to HDMI signals. Therefore, there is no obvious difference if you compare the HDMI signals with the 480p signals displayed under the best conditions.
On the other hand, because the HDMI signal output from the Wii2HDMI is in digital video/audio format, no quality degrading problem occurs during transmission. Therefore, compared with the analogue signals, which degrade along with distance, the digital HDMI signals output from the Wii2HDMI can provide you with superior display quality without transmission loss!
2. Does the Wii2HDMI equipped with upscaler function?
&While we design the Wii2HDMI, we have carefully considered this question, and here in the following is how we think about it. Since almost 100% of the TV/Monitors with HDMI connector have built-in upscaler, here are three possible scenarios to consider.

The screen resolutions can be increased through scaling up. However, there are always certain details lost during this process and thus resulted in partial distortion. Therefore, the best shot is to complete the whole scaling process at once.
For scenario A, the video signals will undergo the upscaling process for two times, which means you will lose two times as many as certain details. In the end, not only the scaling up process may fail to fulfill the pursuit of a more defined screen display but also the over processing could cause even poorer display quality.
For both scenario B and C, the key relies in whether the external or the internal upscaler can do a better job at upscaling. Usually, the external upscaler has to work with all TV/Monitors. Therefore, unless the external upscaler has many and very complete adjusting functions plus manual adjusting, there is no way that it can optimize for one specific TV/Monitor. On the other hand, the internal upscaler was built in TV/Monitor according to the characteristics of the display panel(LCD/Plasma) and was tuned for optimization by manufacturer. In order to reach the same level of display quality, it usually cost much more to use an external upscaler than an internal upscaler.
In consequences, if we want to ensure that the external upscaler has better performance than the internal upscaler, the eventual price of the product will be extremely expensive (around hundreds at least!). If not, the effects of the external upscalers is either not obvious or the performance is less satisfactory than the internal upscalers.
For all the above reasons, we suppose that there is no need to have our customers redundantly invested in the same function to acquire some effects you can not really expect. In addition, the premier pricing does not correspond to the positioning of the Wii2HDMI. Therefore, we chose not to add the upscaler function into the Wii2HDMI.
Note: Generally speaking, when the internal upscaler takes in signals using the same native resolutions of the display panel, it would not up scale again, as scenario B in the above. Otherwise, upscaling would be carried out again as scenario A and C.
3. I already set the Wii video output to 480p mode, but why does the Wii2HDMI still output video in 480i mode?
The output mode depends on several factors: 1) theWii console, 2) Wii2HDMI, 3) theTV/monitor, and 4) the gaming software. The first two items can correctly support 480p without any problem, and all HDMI TV/monitors are required to support 480p mode. Therefore, if you have already set the display mode on the Wii console to 480p, but it still outputs in 480i mode, then the only possibility remains with your Wii gaming software, which may not support 480p mode.
The great majority of the Wii gaming software supports 480p mode, including most newly released games. Nonetheless, a few games still do not support 480p.
4. My Wii console is a European version with 576i format option. I wonder if the Wii2HDMI will work with it?
Wii2HDMI does support 576i format. If your HDMI TV/monitor also supports 576i format, then you may choose to display in 576i format. However, 576i and 480i mode belong to the interlace format; therefore, the display quality is not as good as 480p which is a progressive scan type. Thus, for better display quality and compatibility, we still suggest using 480p mode.

3. Get damaged items, DOA (dead on arrival)

4. Item is defective under warranty
